Help me become a better scout and leader in my community.

I made it to the National Jamboree!

Thanks to everyone who supported my fundraising to join Northern Star Scouting's contingent to the 2026 National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia.

I spent 10 days in camp, completing two merit badges, fulfilling my duties as the troop's Chaplain's Aide, earning a bunch of patches at activities all over camp, and competing in my first-ever triathlon.

Before arriving to the jamboree, my troop also spent four days in Washington DC where I visited the US Capitol Building, a bunch of memorials such as the Lincoln, MLK Jr, Vietnam and Korean war memorials, and the Holocaust Museum.

Hello, my name is Silas, and I am a scout in Troop 3038.

I am 12 years old and I am Tenderfoot Rank.

I want to go to the National Jamboree because there will be lots of cool things there. For example, the second largest skateboard park in the U.S.

There will be some cool merit badges there that are hard to get in Minnesota. Traveling and camping for 10 days with other scouts will help me become a better leader.

The price for this is $3,800 and I am applying for some scholarships.

Plants are delivered to Bethel Lutheran Church on 5/16.
You may pick up your order. We can also deliver to your address within the metro Twin Cities area.

Since moving from the cub scout pack to Troop 38 in March 2025, I have been on six campouts, including skills camp, cooking camp, wilderness survival camp, and my first week-long trip to Many Point Scout Camp.

I am a Patrol Leader for the Golden Artemis patrol.

Some things I like are camping, skateboarding, and playing basketball and the guitar.

Some merit badges I am working on are Skateboarding, Athletics, and Music.
